KIYOSHI SABERS DRAFTING FOR THEEagles

Draft Grade — Eagles
Overall
B+
ValueB-
NeedB+
TradesA+
FutureB-
A masterclass at the trade table lands the Eagles a B+. Nobody else had Jaylen Harrell anywhere near the 176th overall pick. The Eagles did, by 45 spots, and that gap is the whole story.
They won the margins on every swap, and it adds up fast. However the rest shakes out, Coleman at that price is a win they earned.
They punted on quarterback, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. On the needs board they went 8 of 9, with cornerback the one that mattered most.
All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but quarterback.
Pick Analysis
Pick22
Rnd1
Kool-Aid McKinstry
In pick No. 22 they get a sticky cover corner. The biggest hole, addressed.
Pick50
Rnd2
Edgerrin Cooper
A quiet steal in the 50th overall pick: Edgerrin Cooper for less than the market said. A minor need, but a need all the same.
Pick57
Rnd2
Keon Coleman
The board fumbled Keon Coleman all the way to slot 57, and they scooped it up. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
Pick63
Rnd2
Kamren Kinchens
A premium they did not need to pay, Kamren Kinchens a notch or two before his time. A need, and now a little less of one.
Pick85
Rnd3
Zak Zinter
The board screamed and they did not listen, reaching into the next round for Zak Zinter. A sensible fit for a spot that needed help.
Pick87
Rnd3
Audric Estime
They paid up for Audric Estime at the Round 3 slot when waiting would have done the job. It fills a real need, too.
Pick111
Rnd4
Javon Foster
The board had cheaper options than Javon Foster at the 111th pick, and it noticed. The roster fit checks out.
Pick137
Rnd5
Tommy Eichenberg
Tommy Eichenberg at the 137th overall pick is neither steal nor reach, just the going rate. It is more luxury than necessity; they were already set here.
Pick139
Rnd5
Dallin Holker
A big swing on Dallin Holker at pick 139, well ahead of any board in the building. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
Pick157
Rnd5
Jordan Jefferson
Value said wait; Jordan Jefferson in slot 157 says they were not listening. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
Pick170
Rnd5
Trevor Keegan
Trevor Keegan slid further than he should have, and Round 5, Pick 34 is lovely value for the offensive lineman. Another box on the needs board, quietly ticked.
Pick176
Rnd6
Jaylen Harrell
They reached a country mile for Jaylen Harrell at the Round 6 slot, and the board is aghast. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
