Somebody in pick 182 was going to get robbed, and it turned out to be the rest of the league. The Eagles sat still while Logan Brown, the No. 144 name on the board, slid all the way to them, then sprinted to the podium. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped edge rusher, which is a strange place to end up. The roster is better shaped than it was, with cornerback chief among the fixes. The trenches got the money picks, top to bottom.

They chose more darts over a bigger single swing.

Add it up and it is a good, unfussy class.
