The Bills let Dixon fall into their laps, and walked away with a B-.

The best pick of the weekend was also the simplest. The Bills watched Johnny Dixon slide 42 picks past his grade and did not hesitate. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B-.

That linebacker hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. Reaching for Hall Jr. left real value on the table behind him. The roster is better shaped than it was, with offensive lineman chief among the fixes.

Good work on the whole, with linebacker the one box left unchecked.
