Give the war room a raise for the dealing alone. The Texans came out ahead on every exchange that mattered, and it was not close. A dependable weekend that grades out a B+.

They will need McCoy to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. For all the activity, running back went untouched, which is hard to explain.

The Miller pick is the one they will point to when this weekend is judged. On the needs board they went 5 of 8, with wide receiver the one that mattered most.

Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
