Somewhere a scout is still blinking. The Bears spent Round 4, Pick 29 on Vincent Anthony Jr., a name the board had a full 46 spots lower.

They will regret leaving interior defensive lineman for another day if the season turns on it. The Igbinosun pick is the one they will point to when this weekend is judged.

On the needs board they went 4 of 8, with edge rusher the one that mattered most. Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.
