Thirty-one other rooms let Dont'e Thornton Jr. slide, and the Giants were the ones holding the card at slot 245. Highway robbery. Little to argue with here, and the A- says so.

They will need Walker to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. Every deal seemed to tilt their way, which is not luck.

The veteran additions, Samuel Womack III chief among them, give the class a floor the rookies alone would not.

In the end it comes back to Jahdae Barron, and a haul good enough to build on right away.
