FutureB
The Falcons checked most of the boxes and earned a B. The rest of the league had time to spare on JJ Pegues; the Falcons did not wait, grabbing him 106 spots ahead at slot 66. It does the job without flash, and the B reflects it.
Whatever else happened, they won the night they took Gordon II. That offensive lineman hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.
A modest surplus at the table, banked quietly. The Felix Anudike-Uzomah pickup adds a known quantity to a class of unknowns.
All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but offensive lineman.
Pick Analysis
Pick15
Rnd1
Tre Harris
In the 15th overall pick they get a go-to option on the outside, even if it was a touch early. Exactly the need they had to hit.
Pick66
Rnd3
JJ Pegues
JJ Pegues at No. 66 is the pick scouts circle, and not in a good way. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
Pick116
Rnd4
Quinshon Judkins
The board fumbled Quinshon Judkins all the way to Round 4, Pick 15, and they scooped it up. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
Pick242
Rnd7
Ollie Gordon II
Ollie Gordon II at the 242nd pick is daylight robbery; nobody expected him to last. A sensible fit for a spot that needed help.
