You could see the war room lean forward. Jared Verse at pick 35 is the sort of fall that does not happen, except it just did. No fireworks, but a solid B-.

The offensive lineman hole is the one line item this class does not answer. Every board in the league had Wilson lower, and that gap is the story. They went 3 of 8 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for.

The trades cost them a sliver of value they did not need to spend.

In short, they left a little better than they arrived, which is the whole idea.
