Nobody else had Anim Dankwah anywhere near the 187th overall pick. The Falcons did, by 91 spots, and that gap is the whole story. Call it a sensible B-, earned the boring way.

Whatever Jayden Daniels becomes, the front office has tied its fortunes to the answer. With running back, tight end and other spots unsolved, spending premium capital on cornerback is the choice that costs them.

For all the activity, running back went untouched, which is hard to explain. The roster is better shaped than it was, with offensive lineman chief among the fixes.

Not a headline-grabber, but a perfectly good weekend's work.
