A costly weekend of dealing drags the Falcons to a D.

Somebody took the Falcons to the cleaners. The deals they made bled real value, and the whole class wears it. The process wobbled, and the D is where it lands.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped quarterback, which is a strange place to end up. The cost of the Thomas reach is exactly the players who went right after him.

That Simpson pick is the receipt they will wave around later.

Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, quarterback very much included.
