The Falcons found their guy under center in Mensah: D-.

It is the swing that defines the weekend: Darian Mensah in the 29th pick, a good 59 spots before the room expected him. Too much went sideways, and the D- is the honest tally.

Darian Mensah gives the offense a face and a plan, and the grade leans heavily on whether he hits. They lost the exchange badly enough to drag the whole class down.

They will regret leaving running back for another day if the season turns on it. Getting Stone where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class.

Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, running back very much included.
