The real work happened on the phones. The Falcons fleeced their trade partners, turning their picks into a noticeably bigger pile than they started with.

The Jackson pick is fine in a vacuum, less so with quarterback still on the board. The quarterback hole is the one line item this class does not answer. The veteran additions, Haason Reddick chief among them, give the class a floor the rookies alone would not.

If one pick saves this weekend, it is Wallace.

A tidy weekend of work that should hold up just fine.
