The Falcons lost the trade table, and the D+ tells the story.

The move everyone will second-guess came early. The Falcons reached some 46 spots for Zion Logue, and value like that does not grow back.

The trades bled value they could not afford to lose. That running back hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.

That is a cornerback worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly.

Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, running back very much included.

J.J. McCarthy in the 40th overall pick is fair value, right on his grade. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
