The Falcons let Sawyer fall and pounced. Final grade: B.

Every so often the board makes a mistake, and the Falcons were there to profit. Jack Sawyer, the No. 21 name on the board, should have been long gone before slot 46.

A whole weekend of picks and offensive lineman is somehow still a want. They went 2 of 8 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for. The back end got a real overhaul.

In short, they left a little better than they arrived, which is the whole idea.

Xzavier Henderson at Round 7, Pick 26 is neither steal nor reach, just the going rate. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
