Not the weekend the Giants were hoping for: D.

The move everyone will second-guess came early. The Giants reached some 269 spots for Dominic Zvada, and value like that does not grow back. A D that will need time and luck to look better.

However the rest shakes out, Washington at that price is a win they earned. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped wide receiver, which is a strange place to end up.

They will answer for taking specialist early while wide receiver, offensive lineman and other spots went begging.

Bottom line, they will be counting on several picks to beat their grades.
