Call it larceny. Ollie Gordon II sat on the board until pick No. 248, and the Giants did not need to be asked twice. It does the job without flash, and the B- reflects it.

Every board in the league had Walker lower, and that gap is the story. They punted on tight end, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest.

They left with interior defensive lineman solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off. They gave back a little on the phones for the right to move.

Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
