It is the swing that defines the weekend: Dwight McGlothern in the Round 6 slot, a good 40 spots before the room expected him.

They won the margins on every swap, and it adds up fast. If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through quarterback.

It is not that Colson is a bad player; it is that the Packers had louder needs to answer first. On value alone, Melton makes the weekend a net positive.

A competent weekend that does not make headlines and does not need to.
