Draft Grade — Ravens
Overall C+
ValueB+ NeedB+ TradesF FutureB-
The steal of the weekend belongs to the Ravens and Estime: C+.

The Ravens spent the weekend waiting on one name, and it fell: Audric Estime, the No. 100 name on the board, in slot 132.

The trade table is where this weekend went wrong. They will answer for taking DT-EDGE early while interior defensive lineman, quarterback and other spots went begging. Leaving interior defensive lineman unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.

The cost of the Leveston reach is exactly the players who went right after him.

If Amarius Mims and a couple of the gambles land, hindsight will be kinder than this grade.

Pick Analysis
Pick30 Rnd1 Amarius Mims
In Round 1, Pick 30 they get a building block for the line. The biggest hole, addressed.
Pick62 Rnd2 Keon Coleman
They robbed the room for Keon Coleman here, a fall nobody at the table saw coming. A sensible fit for a spot that needed help.
Pick93 Rnd3 Khyree Jackson
The board had Khyree Jackson higher than No. 93, and the cornerback fell to them anyway. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
Pick131 Rnd4 Maason Smith
A curious use of pick No. 131. Interior defensive lineman, quarterback and other spots needed the pick; a DT-EDGE in Maason Smith did not.
Pick132 Rnd4 Audric Estime
Audric Estime in the 132nd pick is the kind of fall that makes a whole class. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
Pick164 Rnd5 Xavier Thomas
Xavier Thomas in the Round 5 slot is a bargain the rest of the room will envy. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
Pick176 Rnd6 Kamal Hadden
Kamal Hadden is a better player than pick 176 suggests; smart patience, rewarded. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
Pick226 Rnd7 KT Leveston
A conviction pick on KT Leveston at slot 226 that the board grades a round light. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
Pick248 Rnd7 Joshua Cephus
Joshua Cephus in the 248th overall pick is fair value, right on his grade. It fills a real need, too.
