F DRAFTING FOR THESeahawks

Draft Grade — Seahawks

NeedA-

FutureB
The Seahawks kept it disciplined and banked a B. For all the names on the card, the loudest question went unanswered. The Seahawks walked out of the weekend still thin at quarterback, a hole that has a way of deciding seasons.
However the rest shakes out, Paul at that price is a win they earned. The trade work was a quiet net positive.
Good work on the whole, with quarterback the one box left unchecked.
Pick Analysis
Pick18
Rnd1
Dallas Turner
In the 18th overall pick they get juice off the edge. The biggest hole, addressed.
Pick81
Rnd3
Patrick Paul
Patrick Paul is a better player than pick 81 suggests; smart patience, rewarded. That was the need underlined and circled, and now it is checked off.
Pick102
Rnd4
Khyree Jackson
Khyree Jackson at pick No. 102 nudges the ledger their way without any fuss. It adds depth where they could use a little.
Pick103
Rnd4
Jalen McMillan
Nothing to complain about; Jalen McMillan went a shade earlier than his grade, which is fine. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
Pick115
Rnd4
Tyler Davis
They paid sticker price for Tyler Davis in Round 4, Pick 15, and that is fine. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
Pick118
Rnd4
Cedric Gray
They did well to land Cedric Gray in the Round 4 slot, just ahead of his grade. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
