When the story of this class is written, it opens with Jalen McLeod at the Round 3 slot, a reach of 86 spots that the board flatly disagrees with.

The Martinez steal is the beam this whole class leans on. They will regret leaving safety for another day if the season turns on it.

They left with cornerback solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off. Nearly every premium pick went to that side of the ball.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the safety spot they never got to.
