The Dolphins lost the trade table, and the D+ tells the story. The Haynes King pick is the one that will follow the Dolphins into the fall. They took him 44 spots ahead of his grade, and the board is not shy about saying so. A weekend that fought the value and lost, hence the D+.
The dealing is the wound this class cannot quite close. It is not that Taaffe is a bad player; it is that the Dolphins had louder needs to answer first.
The edge rusher spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. If one pick saves this weekend, it is Nwankpa.
The verdict is not kind, and fairly so; this class has a hill to climb.
