The steal of the weekend belongs to the Dolphins and Gadsden II: B.

Every so often the board makes a mistake, and the Dolphins were there to profit. Oronde Gadsden II, the No. 180 name on the board, should have been long gone before pick No. 226. They moved the roster forward and banked a B for it.

They will regret leaving edge rusher for another day if the season turns on it. If Ratledge pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about.

On the needs board they went 7 of 8, with quarterback the one that mattered most. Trading back for volume was the quiet throughline of their weekend.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but edge rusher.
