Whoever sat across the table from the Bengals should ask for a receipt. They cleaned the room out, prying loose far more value than they gave up, and it was the quiet MVP of their weekend.

Reaching for Murphy II left real value on the table behind him. That is a cornerback worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped linebacker, which is a strange place to end up.

It is a haul that will look even better come September.
