There was a run on nobody at that position, and the Bengals started one anyway for Evan Anderson, 45 picks ahead of schedule. Good, not great, and the B- says as much.

Getting Williams where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class. They punted on cornerback, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest.

The roster is better shaped than it was, with tight end chief among the fixes. Almost all the early capital went to that side of the ball.
