Somebody in Round 7, Pick 24 was going to get robbed, and it turned out to be the rest of the league. The Bears sat still while Akili Arnold, the No. 205 name on the board, slid all the way to them, then sprinted to the podium.

They won the margins on every swap, and it adds up fast. If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through linebacker.

Edge rusher was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

Good work on the whole, with linebacker the one box left unchecked.
