The Steelers' one glaring miss is interior defensive lineman, a need they left exactly as they found it.

Whatever else happened, they won the night they took Weigman. Every board in the league had Thomas lower, and that gap is the story.

On the needs board they went 4 of 9, with quarterback the one that mattered most. Nearly every premium pick went to that side of the ball.

A competent weekend that does not make headlines and does not need to.
