The Steelers ran the phones like sharks, prying loose value on deal after deal until the ledger was lopsided. A sturdy weekend that grades out a B+.

Landing Clark that late papers over a lot of smaller sins. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped quarterback, which is a strange place to end up.

With quarterback, interior defensive lineman and other spots unsolved, spending premium capital on DT-EDGE is the choice that costs them. Will Hernandez gives the group a proven body among the projects.

In sum, a sensible class that nudges the roster the right way.
