The 49ers spent real capital to be 42 picks early on Derrick Moore, and the board is going to hold them to it. A weekend that fought the value and lost, hence the D-.

Overpaying at the table undid a lot of the good work elsewhere. The running back spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at.

That Daniels pick is the receipt they will wave around later.

Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, running back very much included.
