The steal of the weekend belongs to the Dolphins and Reed: B. Somebody in Round 7, Pick 19 was going to get robbed, and it turned out to be the rest of the league. The Dolphins sat still while Jaylen Reed, the No. 188 name on the board, slid all the way to them, then sprinted to the podium.
They will need Conner to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. The dealing nudged the ledger their way without much fuss. Value over need was the throughline, for better and worse.
A tidy weekend of work that should hold up just fine.
