Every so often the board makes a mistake, and the Giants were there to profit. Chris Paul Jr., the No. 113 name on the board, should have been long gone before the 219th overall pick. Call it a sensible B-, earned the boring way.

The Hassanein reach is the anchor dragging on the value grade. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped cornerback, which is a strange place to end up.

Interior defensive lineman is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the cornerback spot they never got to.
