The Bears cashed the board's mistake on Stutsman: A.

Thirty-one other rooms let Danny Stutsman slide, and the Bears were the ones holding the card at the 149th pick. Highway robbery. Little to argue with here, and the A says so.

Every deal seemed to tilt their way, which is not luck. They will regret leaving edge rusher for another day if the season turns on it. The Cole Strange deal gives the class an established piece to lean on.

In the end it comes back to Josh Simmons, and a haul good enough to build on right away.
