Draft Grade — Ravens
Overall B
ValueB NeedB+ TradesB- FutureB-
The Ravens did the meat-and-potatoes work well: B.

The Ravens torched the value chart for Myles Cole, taking him 44 spots sooner than anyone had him slotted. Call it a sensible B, earned the boring way.

However the rest shakes out, Fisher at that price is a win they earned. They will regret leaving quarterback for another day if the season turns on it.

They left with cornerback solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.

A tidy weekend of work that should hold up just fine.

Pick Analysis
Pick30 Rnd1 Nate Wiggins
A reasonable price with a little left over, Nate Wiggins in pick 30. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
Pick62 Rnd2 Keon Coleman
They let Keon Coleman come to them and pounced at the 62nd overall pick. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
Pick93 Rnd3 Blake Fisher
They barely believed it either: Blake Fisher still on the board at pick No. 93. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
Pick113 Rnd4 Myles Cole
Myles Cole at Round 4, Pick 13 is an overdraft of the loud, memorable kind. The roster fit checks out.
Pick130 Rnd4 Will Shipley
Quietly one of the better values of the day, Will Shipley at the Round 4 slot. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
Pick165 Rnd5 Jaylin Simpson
Jaylin Simpson in the 165th pick is fine work, a shade of surplus and no downside. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
Pick218 Rnd6 Myles Murphy
Myles Murphy at the 218th overall pick is the kind of overdraft that needs everything to break right. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
Pick228 Rnd7 KT Leveston
KT Leveston at slot 228 is the sort of value that quietly wins a weekend. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
Pick250 Rnd7 Bub Means
Bub Means in the 250th pick is the kind of fall that makes a whole class. A need, and now a little less of one.
