The Raiders lost the trade table, and the C- tells the story.

You can fall in love with a player. You are not supposed to marry him in the wrong round. The Raiders did exactly that with Garrett Dellinger in slot 222. Fine in stretches, shaky in others: a C-.

The dealing is the wound this class cannot quite close. For all the activity, edge rusher went untouched, which is hard to explain.

On value alone, Thornton Jr. makes the weekend a net positive. The imported veterans give this class a floor the draft picks could not on their own.

If Jihaad Campbell and a couple of the gambles land, hindsight will be kinder than this grade.
