They will call it conviction in the building and a reach everywhere else: Jamari Lyons, 54 picks early at No. 205. No fireworks, but a solid B.

The Taaffe steal is the beam this whole class leans on. The phones were where this weekend was really won. Adding Kendrick Bourne by trade rounds out the weekend beyond the rookies.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
