Draft Grade — Packers
Overall B
ValueB+ NeedB+ TradesB- FutureB-
The Packers let Gordon II fall into their laps, and walked away with a B.

Call it larceny. Ollie Gordon II sat on the board until the 198th overall pick, and the Packers did not need to be asked twice. Nothing here to lose sleep over; call it a B.

The quarterback spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. Wohler has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced.

Edge rusher was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job. Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.

Good work on the whole, with quarterback the one box left unchecked.

Pick Analysis
Pick23 Rnd1 Shemar Stewart
In the 23rd pick they get a premier pass rusher, outstanding value to boot. Exactly the need they had to hit.
Pick54 Rnd2 T.J. Sanders
A slide stopped in pick 54, with T.J. Sanders worth more than the price. It patches a soft spot without any drama.
Pick87 Rnd3 Donovan Jackson
The board fumbled Donovan Jackson all the way to No. 87, and they scooped it up. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
Pick124 Rnd4 Jacob Parrish
Jacob Parrish in Round 4, Pick 22 lands just on the right side of the ledger. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
Pick159 Rnd5 O'Donnell Fortune
O'Donnell Fortune in the Round 5 slot is a bargain the rest of the room will envy. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
Pick198 Rnd6 Ollie Gordon II
They robbed the room for Ollie Gordon II here, a fall nobody at the table saw coming. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
Pick237 Rnd7 Isaac TeSlaa
Isaac TeSlaa at the 237th overall pick is a sound buy, the sort that quietly helps a class. A sensible fit for a spot that needed help.
Pick250 Rnd7 Hunter Wohler
Hunter Wohler in slot 250 is early enough to raise a brow, if not a full objection. Not urgent, but hardly pointless.
