Majors should have been long gone. The Seahawks pounced, and earned a F. The board owed the Seahawks one, and it paid up: Jake Majors, the No. 98 name on the board, sitting there at slot 171 like a gift left on the doorstep. It bottoms out at a F.
Every board in the league had Trapilo lower, and that gap is the story. The trade table is where this weekend went wrong. The edge rusher hole is the one line item this class does not answer.
They are betting the present roster is worth a lighter draft next spring.
There is no soft landing here; this class has to massively overperform just to matter.
