The tape said wait; the Bengals did not. Xavier Thomas went at slot 238, a good 40 picks before the board was ready.

That Henderson pick is the receipt they will wave around later. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped linebacker, which is a strange place to end up.

Cornerback is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it. The trenches got the money picks, top to bottom.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but linebacker.
