Call it larceny. Connor Lew sat on the board until pick No. 92, and the 49ers did not need to be asked twice.

They punted on wide receiver, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. The roster is better shaped than it was, with offensive lineman chief among the fixes.

Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.
