A respectable, level-headed haul for the Bengals: B-.

Nobody else had Isaac Rex anywhere near the 238th overall pick. The Bengals did, by 48 spots, and that gap is the whole story.

If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through linebacker. However the rest shakes out, Simpson at that price is a win they earned.

Job largely done: cornerback settled and 6 of 8 of the wish list covered. The skill positions did well by the weekend.

Bottom line, more hits than misses and a roster nudged the right way.
