Draft Grade — Packers
Overall B-
ValueC NeedB TradesB FutureB-
No fireworks, just a tidy B- for the Packers.

The move everyone will second-guess came early. The Packers reached some 47 spots for Rylie Mills, and value like that does not grow back. It nets out to a B-, which feels about right.

If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through edge rusher. That Bryant pick is the receipt they will wave around later. Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the edge rusher spot they never got to.

Pick Analysis
Pick30 Rnd1 Tyler Booker
In the 30th overall pick they get a blindside protector, though they paid up to get him. A clean fit for the roster.
Pick54 Rnd2 Tre Harris
They took Tre Harris at par in slot 54, which is nothing to complain about. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
Pick62 Rnd2 Darien Porter
A premium they did not need to pay, Darien Porter a notch or two before his time. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
Pick87 Rnd3 Rylie Mills
Rylie Mills at pick 87 is a steep price for a hunch, hard to square with any board. Another box on the needs board, quietly ticked.
Pick124 Rnd4 Emery Jones Jr.
By-the-book stuff, Emery Jones Jr. at Round 4, Pick 22 squarely in line with his ranking. The roster fit checks out.
Pick159 Rnd5 Pat Bryant
They stopped a slide they were happy to see, landing Pat Bryant in No. 159. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
Pick198 Rnd6 Caleb Rogers
Caleb Rogers at slot 198 is neither steal nor reach, just the going rate. It patches a soft spot without any drama.
Pick237 Rnd7 Bilhal Kone
A tidy little value on Bilhal Kone in pick No. 237, a step better than break-even. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
Pick250 Rnd7 Tonka Hemingway
Tonka Hemingway in pick 250 is exactly on the number, no argument either way. A sensible fit for a spot that needed help.
