The jury is out on the Packers. For now, C+.

There is reaching, and then there is James Peoples at pick No. 254. The Packers jumped the board by 57 and dared it to prove them wrong. It lands right in the middle: a C+, no more, no less.

That edge rusher hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. Montgomery falling to them is the kind of break a good board is built to catch. The roster is better shaped than it was, with offensive lineman chief among the fixes.

Hit on Kade Pieper and the swing picks, and this ages a lot better than it grades today.
