Somewhere a scout is still blinking. The Packers spent the Round 7 slot on Roman Hemby, a name the board had a full 100 spots lower. A dependable weekend that grades out a B-.

However the rest shakes out, Anderson at that price is a win they earned. The edge rusher hole is the one line item this class does not answer.

Cornerback was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job. The dealing was even money, start to finish.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the edge rusher spot they never got to.
