You could see the war room lean forward. Cam Skattebo at the 138th pick is the sort of fall that does not happen, except it just did. A sturdy weekend that grades out a B.

If Oladejo pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about. The quarterback spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at.

Offensive lineman is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it. Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the quarterback spot they never got to.
