Somewhere a general manager is explaining how Elijah Sarratt got past him. The Giants do not have to explain a thing at the Round 4 slot. The bottom line is a respectable B+.

The safety hole is the one line item this class does not answer. The imported veterans give this class a floor the draft picks could not on their own.

The dealing nudged the ledger their way without much fuss. Job largely done: interior defensive lineman settled and 4 of 9 of the wish list covered.

Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
