The Giants drew a line under the quarterback search with Ewers: B-.

Somebody in slot 218 was going to get robbed, and it turned out to be the rest of the league. The Giants sat still while Kalel Mullings, the No. 108 name on the board, slid all the way to them, then sprinted to the podium.

The Ewers reach is the anchor dragging on the value grade. Quinn Ewers gives the offense a face and a plan, and the grade leans heavily on whether he hits.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped edge rusher, which is a strange place to end up. Stockpiling next year's capital is patient, if unglamorous, asset work.

Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
