Larceny in Round 3, Pick 1 lands the Giants a A-, Emmanwori and all.

The board owed the Giants one, and it paid up: Nick Emmanwori, the No. 22 name on the board, sitting there at the Round 3 slot like a gift left on the doorstep. Add it all up and it grades out a clean A-.

The Howard pick is the one the value grade keeps tripping over. They won the margins on every swap, and it adds up fast.

They punted on interior defensive lineman, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. Spending an early pick on specialist with interior defensive lineman, wide receiver and other spots open is the decision the grade keeps circling back to.
