The Giants put a flag in the ground for Fadil Diggs, 63 picks before anyone else would have, and the value took the hit. Good, not great, and the B- says as much.

They banked enough surplus on Thomas to cover a lot of smaller sins. They will regret leaving tight end for another day if the season turns on it. The dealing tilted against them, just enough to notice.

They went 8 of 9 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for.

In short, they left a little better than they arrived, which is the whole idea.
