There was a run on nobody at that position, and the Giants started one anyway for DJ Campbell, 40 picks ahead of schedule.

They handed away value on the phones that the picks cannot earn back. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped interior defensive lineman, which is a strange place to end up.

Wide receiver is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it. The back end got a real overhaul.

If Jermod McCoy and a couple of the gambles land, hindsight will be kinder than this grade.
