Call it larceny. Riley Leonard sat on the board until Round 5, Pick 32, and the Giants did not need to be asked twice. One of the weekend's best, top to bottom, and a A to show for it.

The phones were where this weekend was really won. They will regret leaving edge rusher for another day if the season turns on it. The Giants paired the rookies with proven help, Christian Benford leading the way.

It is a bet on later, and a defensible one for a team playing the long game.

In the end it comes back to Tyler Warren, and a haul good enough to build on right away.
