The Bills did not reach, did not trade up, did not blink. They just waited, and Deontae Lawson fell into slot 93.

The phones were where this weekend was really won. They will regret leaving interior defensive lineman for another day if the season turns on it.

The cost of the Williams reach is exactly the players who went right after him. The Tykee Smith deal gives the class an established piece to lean on.
